About You

As a Program Coordinator - Aviation & Aeronautical Specialist, you'll play a vital role in guiding and assisting students along their educational path. Your main task will be to ensure they receive innovative, tailored, high-quality vocational education and training. Coordinating educators, conducting prior learning recognition and student administration to help students reach their goals will also be part of your duties. Interacting with various organizations, other departments at RMIT, and education and administration staff will be crucial as you collaborate to provide a safe and supportive learning atmosphere.

A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is a minimum requirement for this role.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • Ability to coordinate staff teaching VE programs at the University, industry, or community level.
  • Demonstrated educational leadership skills that enhance teaching and learning.
  • Capability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Teaching experience and proficiency in the relevant area.
  • Skills in competency-based assessment and prior learning recognition.
  • Strong industry experience and up-to-date knowledge related to the position.
  • Sound understanding of vocational education and training sector.
  • Proficiency in information and communication technologies.
  • Knowledge of resource management principles.
Qualifications
  • Teaching qualifications required - Certificate 4 in Training & Assessment as a minimum. Higher vocational education training credentials highly valued.

Please Note: Appointment to this role is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
