Teaching Principal – Kindlehill School

We are seeking an experienced educational leader as full-time Teaching Principal, to lead aflourishing and innovative K – 12 Steiner School.

The principal works collegially with the teaching staff and business executive and reports directly to the Board.
The principal is responsible for supporting the school ethos and values while effectively managing the educational operations.

Selection Criteria

Tertiary qualifications in Education
Ability to manage staff and delegate effectively
Highly skilled in interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with Steiner pedagogy and its implementation
Proven effectiveness as both a leader and a teacher
Excellent problem solving skills
Proven ability to work effectively and collegially in a team environment.

Initiative in developing and implementing innovative place based education
Commitment to the social justice principles that underlie the School
Ability to engage and network with the wider community
Effective use of MS Teams
