The Position


Genus Industrial Services are seeking an experienced Procurement and Logistics Officer for a full-time 18 month contract to support the Kwinana and coordinate the day-to-day procurement and logistics activities on our new Battery Storage facility project.


  • 54 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 11 hours, Friday 10 hours.
  • Competitive remuneration package.

Scope of work

  • Coordinate the daytoday procurement and logistics of costeffective materials for the project.
  • Monitor the receipt of goods, including verification, inspection, and documentation to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Identify and evaluate risks, and implement mitigation control measures.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential requirements

  • Degree qualification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or extensive experience in related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated experience in Packages Procurement, purchasing, logistics and establishing effective procurement processes in a project environment.
  • OHS Construction Induction 'White Card'.
  • Current WA Drivers Licence.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • High level commercial expertise and experience in contract management.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced computer literacy skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook, and other programs relevant to this position.
