The Opportunity

Our Mining Assembly division offers an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled fitter to join our site-based team on a 2/2 roster. Your main focus will be collaborating with other mining assembly team members on new machine site builds.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure timely completion of new machine assembly, onsite builds, and commissioning.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in your designated area.
  • Coordinate closely with the mining assembly supervisor and leading hand to ensure accurate customer orders and meet delivery goals.
  • Handle delivery and site assembly for mining equipment.
  • Maintain build tooling, containers, and Hydraulic Power Pack units.

To excel in this role you should:

  • Prioritize the HCA Safety Culture, making safety a top priority.
  • Possess relevant Australian mobile plant trade qualifications.
  • Have experience in assembly, overhaul, repair, and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components for construction and mining machinery.
  • Hold certifications in Forklift/ dogging/ Rigging/ EWP and Working at Heights.
