Job description:

We are seeking experienced Case Managers for APS6 level roles to join the Administrative Appeals Branch of a growing Federal Government Agency based in Brisbane.

These opportunities are offering $ super per hour.

The Roles

Responsibilities
The positions will be responsible for a range of activities, including:

  • Effectively overseeing end to end case management activities within a high volume and broad complex environment
  • Demonstrate sound judgement, high level independence, collaboration, and problemsolving skills.
  • Obtaining necessary information and advice to effectively resolve AAT matters
  • Attending Case Conferences, Conciliations, Hearings conducted by the AAT.
  • Preparing documentation detailing resolution options and outcomes.
  • Prioritising tasks and risks, including risks to department, and sustainability of program
  • Contributing to report preparation including business cases, meeting submissions, and correspondence.
  • Leading and contributing to strategic projects and policy development exercises.
  • Team leading, mentoring, supervising, training, and supporting junior Case Managers.

About You

  • Qualifications in law or related discipline will be reviewed favourably
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver strategic level goals, whilst leading large teams/ departments
  • Demonstrate the ability to make sound judgements and develop options to solve problems
  • Strong communication and relationship skills including;
  • Ability to prepare high level documentation, such as those that explain a position under legislation
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly and effectively
These 12 month assignments are fulltime, with up to 2 days per week WFH available following training.
