Here at Bloom we are excited to be partnering again with one of our favourite clients in Brisbane to bring in a new role to their team


This business has been growing its teams over the last 12 months working on a huge greenfield project launching this new core product in 2023.

This business is one of the bigger players in their space having operated in Brisbane for over 30 years and now operates a competitive and market leading product across Australia.

This can be a permanent part time OR hourly/day rate contract role proposed for the next 6 months.

There is scope to progress into an extension or into permanent depending on the induvial being keen to also get into some of the BAU project work following.


This role will be working with their project staff during a migration and uplift project primarily enabling the delivery of the Atlassian Cloud Migration and then into the ongoing needs from there.



*Subject matter expert for their Atlassian Cloud Migration project, including: - Key member of the Atlassian Migration project team

  • Input into project management deliverables scope, schedule etc
  • Attend and provide input into project status meetings, vendor meetings etc
  • Reviewing of existing Atlassian configuration & provide recommendations in line with business requirements (specifically around security and change management)
  • Design & implementation of approved design recommendations above as part of the migration project
  • Create and roll out the companywide Atlassian configuration change request framework and be the ongoing custodian for change control in the Atlassian instance.
  • Facilitating all administrative & configuration functions for the Atlassian product suite
  • Creation & update of all Atlassian administrative processes and training provided to their team on these (for backup purposes)


  • Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket) administration.
  • Experience migrating Atlassian server products to Cloud
  • Understanding of Atlassian support framework and associated vendor network capabilities.
  • Experience with configuring Atlassian product suite with security front of mind
  • Experience with enhancing Jira Service Management for best Customer interactions and create efficiencies within Support departments.
  • Experience with integrations of thirdparty software and Atlassian suite products
