Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure compliance with established local and Viatris Global processes and guidelines, following national and international regulations and pharmacovigilance standards.
  • Lead and coordinate the PV team members in the country.
  • Establish, execute, and manage the Affiliate PV System. Promote safety practices, track key safety metrics, and actively engage in advocating safety policies and initiatives.
  • Specific areas of focus comprise ISCR handling, Periodic Safety Reporting, Compliance, Training, SOP's, Audits and Inspections, Management of Safety Data Agreements and other PV agreements, Risk Management plan, PV business continuity, and archiving.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Bachelors Degree and/ or Masters degree in Medical, Pharmacy, Life Science.
  • 3 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • A minimum of years Pharmacovigilance experience.
  • Excellent communication skills. Outstanding project management, teamwork, and organizational abilities, with the capacity to work effectively within the local team and across diverse functional teams.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder).
