What does this role involve?


Working at a project based in the Hunter Valley the position is responsible for providing functional and technical HSE support for our project team and reports to the Project Manager.

You will also be involved in helping improve HSE performance from both a systems and process perspective.

  • This is a role can be FIFO ex Brisbane working on a 10/4 roster or can be offered to someone who lives in the Hunter Valley.
  • Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Work with the HSE Team across Australia
  • Demonstrating a HSE visible presence on site.
  • Facilitate, coordinate and implement HSE Management Plans for the construction project
  • Liaise with internal and external clients, contractors and relevant joint venture partners to ensure that HSE requirements are implemented and reviewed on a regular basis
  • Analysing HSE performance to ensure that critical HSE issues are identified and correct.
  • Conduct investigation provide support and advice to construction contractors
  • Be a visible presence on site promoting a strong HSE performance

What we are looking for:


You will have relevant qualifications in related areas and a minimum 3-4 years' experience in a project/construction environment in the mining or related industry with particular emphasis in coal or base metal process plants.

You must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of HSE requirements in mining related industries
