Location:
Sydney, NSW

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the classroom on each day
  • Work with the Lead Teacher to set up the safe, nurturing environment in the classroom, and maintain general order, cleanliness and aesthetics in classroom and campus
  • Supervise children 's safety and daily schedule, including but not limited to childcare, feeding, naps, bedtime routine
  • Partner with Room Leader to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
  • Communicate respectfully with children, parents, and cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
  • Implement the curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
  • Work with Room Leader for engagement, interaction, ageappropriate activities
  • Relevant work assigned by direct line manager.

Qualifications:

  • Having Certificate III of early childhood education
  • Minimum 1 year or above in preschool/kindergarten early childhood education experience;
  • Students in the process of obtaining a Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education are encouraged to apply, and relevant coursework can be considered as part of the experience.
  • Montessori/Reggio/Pikler trained experience (preferred);
  • Effective communicator, selfmotivated,teamplayer and customer oriented
  • Able to use a computer with proficiency
