The Soil Conservation Service (SCS) is looking for its next Projects Supervisor to support the team to deliver the design, construction and maintenance of river restoration works.

Undertake both office and fieldwork and work with a team to deliver natural area management projects.

Proven project management experience combined with a practical working knowledge in the design and implementation of works in riparian environments, earthworks or natural area management works are very highly regarded.

Located primarily within the Greater Sydney area including Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury. We also support SCS projects in the Hunter Valley with opportunities to travel if desired.

Your duties will include:

  • Supporting the team with an "assessment, concept, design, costing and construction delivery model".
  • Subcontractor management


 On site
  • WHS, Environmental and Quality
  • Detailed tracking of project progress and planning of new and adhoc works
  • Data management for scheduling and reporting
  • Liaison and engagement with stakeholders

About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to work autonomously, assess and prioritise tasks in a changing environment and be able to attend to customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a high level of computer literacy.
  • A current class C Drivers' License with willingness to travel throughout the Sydney metro region including Blue Mountains and the Hawkesbury. Options for further travel to the Hunter Valley and broader NSW, if desired.
  • Comprehensive understanding of environmental principles and legislation
- would also be ideal.
