Your Opportunity Awaits

As an Employment Case Officer, you're not just filling a role; you're embarking on a fulfilling journey. Reporting to our Branch Manager, you'll:

  • Assess training – We meet the participant where they are at in their employment journey and assist to identify their employment goals. The Case Officer will identify the resources or referral partners needed to progress along the participant journey.
  • Upskilling – We provide and deliver the resources needed to fulfil the participants individual training need.
  • Conducting Barrier Management – Case Officers assist the participant to overcome any hurdles or barriers they may have to employment including assistance with obtaining required training, licences, meeting industry demands and confidence building.
  • Assisting with Placement Support – We continue to provide assistance to our participants to ensure sustainable and fulfilling employment.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Belmont location, with the potential for occasional work at other Castle locations. The Salary for this role is paid based on an award rate at $31.86p/h with room to progress to the higher pay points. If you do bring Industry knowledge and experience, there may be potential to align you to a higher pay point.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Certificate IV in Disability Services or Mental Health or Community Services or equivalent knowledge and at least 3 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in employment services with an enhanced working knowledge of strategies to address barriers to employment. Case management experience within employment, community or rehabilitation services is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated flexible communication skills and ability to resolve conflicts to deliver customer service
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, databases and business systems with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated personal integrity, professionalism and empathy towards people living with disabilities
  • Ability to assist with building positive working relationships with stakeholders

Essential Criteria

  • An NDIS Workers Check (or a willingness to obtain one).
  • A Working With Children Check (or a willingness to obtain one).
  • A driver's license or reliable transportation.
