About the company


This busy government authority based in the northeast, requires a suitably qualified Return to Work Officer to assist them in the delivery of injury & claims management & return to work programs.

This role is to start ASAP and is projected for 2 months' time. It is a full-time role, working Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Provide system administration support to the ReturntoWork Function and the broader People & Culture team as required.
  • Assist in ReturntoWork projects.
  • Update Return to Work, procedures, and resources with assistance from more senior P&C team members.
  • Undertake research, analysis, and reporting.
  • Aid throughout the returntowork process as required.
  • Help with the coordination of meetings and similar processes.
  • Other reasonable duties as directed by the Risk & OHS Coordinator.

You will have the following:

  • Relevant qualifications in HR or OH&S Risk Management or equivalent coupled with related experience in claims and injury management
  • Demonstrated experience in a returntowork role and knowledge of workers' comp legislation
  • Experience working in a large multifaceted organisation
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards work
