About the Role The Office of Bushfire Risk Management (OBRM) is looking for a new team member to contribute to our work across Western Australia.

As the Senior Bushfire Spatial Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and continually improving the Map of Bushfire Prone Areas and other decision support used in the land use planning and development framework.

You will also contribute expertise to the analysis of bushfire risk across the State and support OBRM's other work by providing GIS, mapping and spatial data management.

To succeed in this role, you will need well developed GIS expertise and to be a good problem solver and communicator.

You will be expected to contribute to a strong team ethos and work under supervision to achieve the team's goals.

You will have opportunities to develop relationships with stakeholders across the State and learn about fire management in diverse cultural, environmental and organisational settings.
