The Job
Working closely with the CIO and CRO you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Maintain the data capture, quality and metrics across the Vestone Capital business
  • Own the data lifecycle by working with finance, operations and credit to provide meaningful data insights
  • Dive diving into data to extract actionable insights
  • Analyse information for opportunities to improve management practices including current and emerging trends
  • Produce highquality insightful reports on financial risk exposure, and relating those back to underlying business drivers
  • Consolidate and analyse information from a variety of internal and external sources and identify risk exposure across the business
  • Identify synergies, efficiencies and improvements in the assessment and reporting process
  • Continued automation of dashboard reporting and driving towards an online, datacentric distribution model that facilitates userdriven investigation and analysis
  • Enhancement of credit scorecard models collaborating with the risk, finance and technical teams
  • Developing and implementing management analysis and decisionmaking tools such as key performance and risk indicators, credit scorecard models, business plan and financial modelling scenario analysis

You
To be successful with this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas:

  • Tertiary qualification in a statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, econometrics or statistics
  • 35 years Data Analysis experience, ideally within Financial Services
  • Proficient in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, R and Python
  • Exposure to IFRS 9 concepts
  • Knowledge or a genuine interest in credit risk modelling highly regarded
  • The ability to see the big picture as well as drill down to the finer detail
