The Opportunity
Cochlear has a 5 month fixed term contract opportunity for Data Reporting Analyst based in our Sydney, Macquarie office.

In this role, the successful Data Reporting Analyst will play a crucial role in driving project and Data Quality efforts on a global scale.

You will be responsible for creating, visualizing, and analyzing reports that provide valuable insights and direction for regions and teams.

Your work will contribute to achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and enhancing customer satisfaction and revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interpret and analyze data, identifying trends and insights to create userfriendly reports for informed decisionmaking.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to investigate data quality issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the Customer Service Operations team with adhoc reporting requirements.
  • Identify instances of poor data quality and develop ongoing reports on data quality issues.
  • Utilize reporting tools like Tableau, Informatica, APIs, and data storage systems to deliver visually appealing and easytouse reports.
  • Create comprehensive documentation on report creation, including data sources, calculations, and algorithms for user verification.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across IT, Business Insights, Sales, and Marketing to ensure data accuracy, privacy, and security.
  • Contribute to the development of Cochlear practices and guidelines for data representation.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather input and ensure the success of Data Quality reporting.

The role involves creating, analyzing, and visualizing reports that drive projects and data quality efforts globally, enabling stakeholders across different regions to make informed decisions and take actions to achieve key KPIs.

The role provides exposure to working with cutting-edge reporting tools such as Tableau and Informatica, collaborating with key stakeholders in IT, Business Insights, Sales, and Marketing.


About You
To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Minimum:

  • Bachelors or Equivalent Work Experience.
  • Ability to create reports, medium to complex in Tableau Desktop using different types of data sources.
  • Ability to design dashboards with working knowledge of different types of charts, tables, filters, details and functions.
  • Ability to identify patterns and meaningful insights from data by analysing it
  • Relevant experience working with Tableau.

Ideal:

  • Ability to work and adapt in a fastpaced environment and balance / manage multiple, changing priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills, and an ability to adjust communication and messaging to fit the audience.
  • Demonstrated strong follow through on commitments and taking responsibility for actions and decisions.
  • Approaches projects collaboratively, seeking varied input.
  • Ability to identify solutions and challenge the status quo to deliver creative solutions.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and positively in a team environment.
  • Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization, establish professional relationships, and communicate openly within the department and with crossfunctional teams.
  • Experience in customer record management.
