Based in Adelaide's Northern suburbs, be a part of our Graduate Home Care Program you will deliver high-quality services to Helping Hand clients living in their own homes. Each day is unique in this varied role. Our program is aimed to provide our new graduates the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in their roles as a Care Worker within the Home Care environment.

What makes our program special:

  • 6-month program covering 6 specialised topics relating to Home Care
  • Paid half day sessions led by a clinical educator
  • Hands on skills development
  • On-going support throughout the program provided by our Senior Care Workers
  • Monthly support sessions in person and over the phone
  • Be paid while you learn
  • Permanent Part time Hours
  • Regular client base

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care
  • Current Australian driver licence
  • A registered, well-maintained, reliable and insured vehicle
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately
  • Ability to operate smartphones and apps (such as Microsoft Outlook)
  • Have a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
  • Willingness to commit to the 6-month program
