With two main acute facilities based at Leongatha and Korumburra, GSHS offers a broad range of specialist, general, acute, subacute, ambulatory, residential aged care and community services.


About the Role
GSHS is currently seeking Staff Specialist for the Medical Unit at Leongatha Campus. The successful applicants will support the provision of high-quality clinical care to patients at Leongatha Medical Ward. This position is part time, and reports to the Executive Director of Medical Services.
About You

Applicants should possess the following experience/qualifications:

  • Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Significant experience in the provision of medical inpatient care
  • Commitment to maintaining or developing skills relevant to internal medicine
  • Demonstrated interest in and commitment to education and training
  • Interpersonal skills that promote effective teamwork and patient safety
  • Current and satisfactory National Police Records Check
  • Current and satisfactory Working with Children Check
  • Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. The successful applicant will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check.
