GSHS offers a broad range of services that meet the needs of a diverse and sparsely populated area. With two main acute facilities based at Leongatha and Korumburra, GSHS offers a broad range of specialist, general, acute, subacute, ambulatory, residential aged care and community services.**About the Role**
GSHS is currently seeking experienced Ward Clerks for our casual bank. Shifts include evening and weekend. The successful applicants will provide administrative, clerical and reception services to the clinical staff in the Inpatient Ward, located within the Leongatha Hospital.**About You**
Applicants should possess the following experience/qualifications:
- A minimum 12 months experience in a similar role.
- Be able to communicate in an efficient, friendly and courteous manner.
- Competent computer skills.
- Exercise discretion and confidentiality.
- Well presented with a positive "can-do" attitude, the successful applicants will provide a friendly, courteous and professional point of contact for clinical staff, patients and visitors as well as act as a resource and provide general assistance. You will be required to work independently with mínimal supervision and will have proven competence in organising, co-ordinating and prioritising various administrative activities to ensure efficient operational functioning of the position.- Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs.
