Snowy 2.0 is Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
We're looking for a Manager Safety Systems to join our dynamic Health and Safety team.

Leading a small but dedicated team, you will work with key stakeholders across the organisation to maintain and improve Snowy Hydro's Health and Safety Management System.


Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
Managing the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships with a range of key internal and external stakeholders.

Providing H&S coaching and training to internal stakeholders.

Providing reporting to the Executive team and Board on the performance of the H&S Management System.

Develop and manage the H&S internal assurance framework and ensure continuous improvement of the process.

Manage the external certification process for the H&S Management System.

We're looking for someone with:

Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or substantial systems experience.

Minimum - 6 years experience in health and safety in an industrial setting.

Extensive experience in developing and reviewing Health & Safety Management Systems.

A Lead Auditor qualification and systems auditing experience.

Strong stakeholder management and engagement with highly developed influencing and negotiation skills.

Strong reporting skills.

In-depth knowledge of Commonwealth WHS legislation and SRC Act.
