The Role We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Financial Accountant, to work closely with the finance team delivering month end close and financial reporting for the Group.

As a Senior Financial Accountant you will be key to ensuring the integrity of the financials and delivering all tax compliance requirements.


Day to day responsibilities include:
Financial Accounting – 85%Managing month end close process – processing of accruals (eg.
WIP, salaries, leave liabilities, ECL), review and analysis of results, providing commentary on variances to budget.

Review of balance sheet reconciliations Year end – assistance with preparation of general purpose financial statements including calculations for Lease Accounting, Tax Effect Accounting and LSL.

Liaising with external Auditors and Tax specialists Treasury management – monitoring cash flows and liaising with banks.

Providing guidance to offshore finance transactions team when necessary in respect of reconciliations, general journals, billing and general accounting tasks.

Responding to financial queries from internal clients eg.
HQ, Partners and other business heads Practice management and finance systems superuser Finance projects eg.

implementation of Expense Management System Other ad hoc projects in a fast-paced, hyper growth environment Tax – 15%Preparation of monthly BAS and IAS.

GST compliance.
Income tax and FBT return preparation.

Responding to tax queries from internal clients and ATOAbout You We're looking for someone: With 3+ years' experience as a Financial Accountant Tertiary Degree in Accounting and CA or CPA qualified Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Engaging, outstanding communication skills, with ability to build rapport with customers to drive outcomes Deadline-oriented and strong time management skills Ability to work in a hyper growth environment, with strong attention to detail, and problem-solve Microsoft Business Central and Action Step experience an advantage Staff management experience an advantage What's in it for you Be mentored in a supportive environment, with access to quality work, great clients and professional development opportunities.
