In this role, you'll :

Work as part of the Incident Response Preparedness team in the development and delivery of multi-modal incident and emergency transport management plans across our public transport and road networks.

You will facilitate, develop and maintain operational multi-modal incident response and transport management plans for planned and unplanned events as well as major projects. You'll also develop incident response exercises, chair weekly meetings, attend weather zone briefings, attend sites to do inspections and assess the feasibility of detour routes, and much more. This role also supports day to day operations of the transport operations room.
This is a temporary, full-time opportunity until August 2025.

Your attention to detail, ability to manage conflicting and competing agendas of stakeholders and ability to work in a dynamic environment would see you successful in this role. You combine this with your strong interpersonal skills as well as your excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You have sound knowledge of the road and transport networks in Sydney and across NSW and have demonstrated experience in traffic and transport management plans.

You also have experience working in teams to tight deadlines and have a successful track record in delivering great customer experience outcomes.

You must possess a valid Australian motor vehicle driver's license, strong computer proficiency, and be willing to work outside regular working hours and travel on occasions as required.
