The role


The purpose of the role is to support the language and literacy needs of EAL/D students (predominantly students from refugee backgrounds or First Nations students who speak English as an additional language).

As part of the Learning Enhancement Team, the role will provide direct support to the students as well enhancing the skillset of teaching staff to support diverse learners.

The Secondary School EAL/D teacher is accountable to the Head of Learning Enhancement K-12 who reports directly to Deputy Principal (Academic K -12).

This role works closely with the Head of Social Impact and the Indigenous Education Leader. The key focus of this role is delivery and evaluation of our Programs. We are ideally seeking experience and expertise with Refugee students who may have experienced trauma.
