The Role


Our People & Culture team is growing We are excited to invite a HR generalist with particular skills in organisational development (OD), to join our team in a permanent, part-time (0.8 FTE) capacity.


This is a role that will see you playing a pivotal role in supporting a skilled, empowered and healthy workplace that is underpinned by a wonderful community spirit.


Working onsite at our picturesque, beautifully maintained Campus in Melbourne's leafy East, you will enjoy a location with free onsite parking, close to major arterials and public transport.


Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, the People & Culture Officer will support the implementation and embedding of a range of OD initiatives across the College.

Responsibilities will include project coordination, research and analysis, coordinating the annual performance management cycle for general staff, learning and development support, and a range of HR compliance related tasks.

The People & Culture Team services around 600 College staff on the one site (full-time, part-time and casual).

About You


You are a qualified HR generalist with experience in an education or similar setting, where 'community focus' is at the heart of your professional duty.


You will have a positive, proactive customer service approach and honed skills in coordinating organisational development and change management initiatives, to support the Director of People & Culture and stakeholder groups across the School.

You have strong organisational and multi-tasking skills, and are able to prioritise tasks to ensure timely and effective outcomes.


You thrive in a role where no day is the same, continuous improvement is the norm, and career development is encouraged.
