What you do:

  • Install, inspect, diagnose faults, maintain and repair plumbing projects and systems, ensuring work is done to relevant plumbing code and/or client specifications and excellent service delivered to clients.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems to locate the cause of breakdowns and correct the problem.
  • Repair or replace pipes, equipment and fixtures using hand tools and power tool.
  • Accurately interpret and read plans and specifications to determine the dimensions, materials required and installation processes.
  • Operate any item(s) of plant that may be required on a day to day basis provided appropriate qualifications are held.
  • Undertake pre-start checklists and daily maintenance of item(s) of plant and equipment operated as directed.
  • Prepare orders for materials and equipment, in accordance with company procurement procedures.
  • Purchase consumables and collect parts as required.
  • Ensure all plant, tools and the site are secure at the end of the day.

What we need:

  • Construction OH&S Card (White Card)
  • Relevant plumbing trade qualifications and experience with an NT Journeyman Licence or equivalent
  • Knowledge, willingness and ability to work in compliance with applicable Health &
  • Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation/regulations
  • Demonstrated understanding of maintenance / operational requirements of plant and equipment and related equipment
  • Well-developed ability to interact with clients in a positive, courteous and respectful manner
  • Ochre Card or receipt showing application is underway
  • Current NT MR licence
