Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Plumber Pipefitter Engineer or Mechanical Engineer to join our team at PRS, a leading specialist recruitment and search & selection consultancy within the Building Services, FM, and Support Sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete refurbishment projects on critical / data centre facilities and replace old and worn mechanical plant room.
• Install and fit out refurbished areas within the facility with water, heating pipework, and drainage pipework/services.
• Perform ad-hoc or remedial tasks as required.
• Overlap with other mechanical engineers on the CRAC, AHU, and fan coil systems where necessary.

Requirements:

• A suitable mechanical, plumbing or pipefitting City and Guilds or equivalent qualification is required.
• Experience in pipefitting and installation projects, particularly in plant room environments and commercial grade buildings.
• CSCS carded and valid driving license.
• Willingness to work away from home and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Ideal candidates will hold additional certifications such as IPAF, working at heights, but any necessary training will be provided by the client.
