Reporting to the Director of Organisational Performance, the Senior Commercial Advisor will be an essential leader overseeing the successful planning, coordination, and execution of diverse projects with a strong focus on financial and community outcomes. The Senior Commercial Advisor will utilize innovative strategic planning and high-impact project management, ensuring exceptional profitability while updating financial models, administering contracts, and fostering stakeholder relationships. Your expertise in commercial property management, project leadership, and policy interpretation will be pivotal as you build and drive a culture of high performance across the organisation. With exceptional interpersonal skills, you will motivate staff and drive team success in an exciting and fast-paced environment.
To be considered for this role, you have a strong understanding of and have demonstrated financial acumen in previous roles, including the ability to create and update feasibility studies and business cases for informed decision-making. Strong negotiation skills for managing commercial sales and leasing contracts are essential, alongside extensive experience in leading teams, developing strategies, and managing budgets. Additionally, you have exceptional stakeholder management, influencing skills, and a proactive, results-oriented commercial acumen. You have a track record of achieving customer-focused outcomes, initiating, and delivering innovative projects, and managing teams with a collaborative leadership style. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Retail, Commercial, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 10 years' experience in property, retail, or commercial developments, ideally across multiple projects or large-scale projects with built form experience is essential.
