About the Role

  • Responsibilities
    • Delivery - Oversee data projects from inception to completion, ensuring efficient monitoring and timely reporting to stakeholders.
    • Financial Management - Handle project cost estimations for submission and approval, managing and reporting on delivery costs accurately.
    • Benefit Management - Monitor benefits compared to initial projections, ensuring ongoing communication and involvement of all stakeholders throughout program changes.
    • Stakeholder Management - Engage, inform, and negotiate with regulatory change stakeholders, sponsors, affected business units, vendors, and service providers post-project completion.
    • Project Governance - Adhere to Rest's delivery methodology and governance framework.
    • Partner and Vendor Management - Coordinate vendors to deliver project solutions effectively.
    • Risk and Issue Management - Identify and document project risks and issues while developing and implementing mitigation strategies per Rest's risk framework.
    • Lead, Mentor, and Guide project team members.

Qualifications

Your Profile:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree.
  • Possess Project Management Certification such as PMI or Prince 2, or equivalent Scrum master/Agile certification.

Relevant experience, knowledge, or credentials include:

  • Over 5 years of Project Management experience handling budgets exceeding $1M and some exposure to agile project management.
  • More than 5 years in a compliance, technical, regulatory engagement, or similar role within financial services.
  • Experience leading Data Platform, Data Lake, or Data warehouse projects.
  • Expertise in managing regulatory projects and delivering solution planning within budget, time, and quality standards.
  • Leading, managing, and motivating diverse project delivery teams, both internal and external personnel.
  • Experience in financial and performance analysis with comprehensive project reporting.
  • Leading the implementation of best practice project management methodologies.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and evaluation skills to provide innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and reporting/presentation skills.
  • Team-oriented with robust interpersonal skills, demonstrating success in influencing, negotiating, and managing various stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Preferably, possess knowledge of superannuation and its regulatory landscape.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage workloads efficiently.
  • Experience in managing projects/change within the Superannuation/Financial Services industry is highly desirable.
