We are particularly keen to receive applications from experienced individuals living and working in the rural areas of our region; however, strong applications will be accepted from all applicants throughout the region.
About the PHNAs directed by the Federal Government, our role is to both support primary health providers and to work with our partners to ensure the right care is there for those who need it most.
Our health priority areas are:
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HealthAlcohol and Other DrugsAged Care and Palliative CarePopulation HealthMental HealthDigital HealthHealth Workforce.
Meetings are held second monthly, with additional strategic and/or sub-committee meetings held during the year.
These positions are remunerated to around $20,000 pa, including the ability to salary package.
