ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will be working as a Production Excavator Operator within the Overburden department on a coal mine in Moranbah. You will be operating a Hitachi 5600 or CAT 6040 Excavator within a production environment. You will be working a 7/7 rotating roster, and these roles are available for FIFO (Brisbane or Cairns), DIDO or residential (Moranbah) Candidates.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Previous mining experience operating Hitachi 5600 Excavators or similar within production mining
- You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
- SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia.
