Welcome to the Procurement Strategy, Programs and Operations Team

We are an enterprise-wide, C-suite sponsored program team built to drive value and operational excellence throughout the Business Units through a consulting service that leverages a strong program structure and provides leading practice insights / thought leadership and delivery excellence to our business partners.

Our mandate is to partner with each of our Business Units across the group portfolio to identify and develop high-quality optimisation programs, within the Goods & Services Not for Resale space. We collaborate with each Business Unit to target and prioritise the areas that represent a significant improvement in their cost of doing business and therefore directly contribute to the company's bottom line.

About the opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to enable a dynamic program team to successfully deliver strategic programs focused on the continuous evolution of the function and its Value Proposition.

The individual will be a trusted advisor to the Program team and Procurement function and will support and empower them by leveraging leading practice program management methodologies. The role will also manage the Quarterly Delivery of the newly formed Procurement 3 horizon strategy.

What you'll do

This role will directly contribute to the success of some of the most visible C-suite-sponsored strategic programs within Woolworths Group and will support the programmatic development and delivery. You will:

Lead the delivery of key programs including the Group Procurement Capability Framework and Quarterly Delivery Cycle Be a leader in agile, robust project & program management and a key member of the Group Program Management Tribe Build credibility and be a trusted advisor to the Senior Programs and Governance Manager and senior stakeholders across the Business Units to demonstrate the value they receive through structured proactive program management Be challenged in a key role where you will make a visible impact on the success of the Woolworths Group and manage C-Suite / senior stakeholder relationships.

What you'll bring

We are looking for an individual with prior or current consulting or large corporate experience with demonstrable Program Management skills. You will bring:

Extensive experience leading medium to large-scale corporate programs Specialist program management skills developed as a member of a complex program team with multiple workstreams (People, Process and Systems), utilising agile methodologies Well-developed problem-solving toolkit including analytical with a creative mindset that brings clarity to ambiguity and the development of the storyboard to engage and bring stakeholders along the journey. Proven collaboration and strong business partnering skills with senior Stakeholders A Program Management tool kit that will support the development of the Group Procurement Program Management standards leveraging data and automation to drive delivery and performance tracking efficiencies
