To sustain our positive momentum and enhance our capabilities, we seek a Property Advisor to join bp's Aviation team. This role entails managing properties within the Australian and New Zealand airport portfolio. Responsibilities include lease preparation, overall portfolio management, ensuring compliance with internal and contractual obligations, and providing valuable property guidance for bp's leased properties.

What to Expect in this Role:
  • Preparing and negotiating property leases at airport sites in Australia and New Zealand
  • Managing critical dates in property software and offering accurate reporting to Aviation Business Leads
  • Serving as the primary contact for lease administration queries and overseeing rent reviews and landlord notifications
  • Selecting and overseeing external property subject matter expert consultants supporting the Aviation Business Lead
  • Providing advice to Aviation stakeholders on property contracts, obligations, and strategies
  • Assisting the Aviation Business Lead in lease transaction approvals in alignment with internal compliance protocols
  • Establishing aviation lease sites in property software and preserving data integrity for each site
  • Supervising payment of all lease-related costs for the Aviation business
Desired Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business or Property, or relevant experience
  • Thorough understanding of property legal concepts for lease negotiations and agreement preparation
  • Strong commercial aptitude and experience in managing commercial contracts
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and account management
  • Experience in the external property market
