About the opportunity Our Hobart baking facility is searching for a motivated Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) Coordinator to join their diverse team.

In this role, you will Champion Safety, Health, Environment and Quality assurance on-site to foster a 'never walk by' culture.

Partnering with the operations and logistics teams to manage the day-to-day health and safety systems within the facility.

This role has a strong emphasis on coaching key personnel and line managers in the implementation and continuous improvement of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Site Operations, Supply Chain Depots & Field Sales management & personnel with basic advice and technical support to continuously reduce workplace injuries, illnesses, SH&E incidents and environmental incidents
• Manage the QMS
• Drive the daytoday Health and Safety systems for the site
• Maintain and develop the legal compliance and food safety plans within the site
• Increase GMP awareness and adherence across the site
• Role Model and champion safety and quality across the site
• Complete complaint investigations and manage the quality and food safety in production

About you

• A positive cando attitude with a willingness to learn
• Proven experience in Quality and Safety Fields (FMCG industry desirable)
• Exposure to running quality audits in manufacturing and experience in HACCP / BRC audits
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence change
• An analytical mindset with strong problemsolving abilities
