THE ROLE


We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Grinders Coffee team in Brisbane, QLD Reporting to the State Sales Manager, your primary focus will be to drive long term sales growth through securing high value new business.

This role will cover the entire state with a focus on South East Qld.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • As a Grinders BDM, you are responsible for identifying and securing high value new business opportunities
  • Work closely with the Qld Grinders Territory sales team to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with the broader Coca-Cola Euro Pacific beverage teams across the state to uncover growth opportunities

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Prior Coffee Industry experience (coffee sales, barista, coffee professional, hospitality background) is essential
  • Proven success in identifying and converting high value new business opportunities will be highly regarded
  • Strong negotiation and business acumen skills are very important
  • Results focused with very strong planning and multitasking capabilities
  • Knowledge of Coffee equipment is highly regarded
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm and high level of resilience
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to think on your feet and influence mutually beneficial outcomes with our customers
  • Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to get up to speed with a range of technologies and systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
  • Ability to coach and support your team mates
  • Valid and unrestricted Australian Driver's License
  • Available to travel regionally including occasional overnight stays
