The Role


Within the Technical Team of IT & Media and Communications you will provide technical support and services in teaching and research specifically in the School of Information Technology.


As a technician you will prepare user, systems, program and support documentation to the required standard and provide users with software support and training.

This includes developing and maintaining the discipline's SharePoint repositories hosting course content, file sharing and documentation.

What you'll bring to this role

  • Completion of a degree in computer science, information technology or related fields or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Expertise in network design, implementation and administration.
  • Ability to maintain and support a variety of computing environment
  • Knowledge of installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting of software and hardware
  • Ability to configure IT Infrastructure.
