Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with an established property group and is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual with a passion for Real Estate to join their team. You will be joining a start-up with an extensive list of high-end premium stock already on its books.

What do you do?

  • Responsible for strategic growth of the portfolio through partnerships, key clients, referrals, and team.
  • To oversee the property portfolio's daytoday management, including completing tasks for key clients, rent reviews, lease renewals, and team performance.
  • Support the business development process, accompanying leasing agents to prospective client sessions as required
  • Driving property management portfolio performance and setting and reporting on KPI's
  • Provide support and coaching to more junior members of the team on an informal basis
  • Report directly to the GM of Property Management on portfolio performance
  • Keep up to date with legislative changes and obligations pertaining to all relevant Acts
  • Supervise and sign off on Trust Accounting and all OFT (Office of Fair Trading) reporting and audits
  • Attending to all tenant and owner queries and complaints within the portfolio, and directing building management and service staff where necessary
  • Maintaining all aspects of your portfolio of properties in accordance with the management and lease agreement

  • Ensure the property and tenant follow building regulations, workplace health and safety, and meet insurance and all legislative requirements.

What you'll need to succeed?

  • Demonstrated track record managing, mentoring, and motivating a diverse team
  • Prior experience in highvolume residential property management is essential
  • Extensive knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and VCAT proceedings
  • Ability to provide ongoing training for your team
  • Professional presentation with immaculate written and oral communication skills
  • Qualifications in property management or a related real estate discipline will be highly favoured but not essential
  • Real Estate Representative License
  • Valid driver's license and National Police Check
