Let's talk about the roles and responsibilities:

Capgemini Engineering is hiring a passionate and experienced Customer Delivery Lead Engineer to join our Professional Services team in Australia. In this role, you'll lead projects focused on cutting-edge technologies including VXLAN, NDFC, ACI, UCS, and more, with opportunities to engage in Cloud, Automation, and Orchestration projects.

  • Engage with customers in the planning, design, implementation, optimization, and automation of advanced data centre solutions.
  • Lead and manage technical engagements with customers, identifying challenges and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Translate customer business requirements into technical plans, guiding the creation, validation, deployment, and automation processes.
  • Cultivate and sustain deep relationships with customers, partners, and Capgemini's extended Cisco delivery and account team.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in designing, deploying, operating, and leading scalable data center solutions.
  • Expertise in planning, designing, and implementing large, complex projects with a focus on ACI Multisite/Multipod, Next-Gen DC, Fabric Path, VXLAN, NDFC, NDI, UCS/Hyperflex.
  • Strong background in Cisco networking solutions, including routing and switching.
  • Experience with Cloud Solutions (AWS, Azure, Google).
  • Familiarity with hardware and platforms such as Nexus Switches, Hyperflex, UCS, Cisco ASR, IOS, IOS-XR, and IOS-XE.
  • Proficient troubleshooting and problem management skills in the Cisco DC portfolio.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate complex technical issues for executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and Cisco DevNet.
  • Experience with Agile practices, software engineering, and an understanding of code/APIs.
  • Awareness of third-party products/solutions in networks, data centers, and related technologies.

Desired Skills and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Information Technology or equivalent
  • Knowledge in additional Cisco technologies such as SDA, SDWAN, DNA Center, Enterprise Wireless Solutions, ISE, Firewalls.
  • Self-driven, with a desire to continuously learn and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to execute complex tasks pragmatically.
  • CCIE (R&S/Enterprise/DC) Certification.
  • Cloud certifications and AGSVA clearance are a plus.
