Our opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Development Manager with Apartments experience to join our Melbourne Team. Working alongside an experienced and motivated team, you will play a critical role in delivering the new Victorian flagship apartment project - 699 Park Street in Brunswick

Your responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Manage project feasibility
  • single stage, multi stages, JV models and all components of financial model
  • Establish and manage budgets and cash flows accurately
  • Develop and manage commercial negotiations
  • Manage and maintain positive and effective relationships with key stakeholders such as council, neighbouring developers, consultants and head contractors.
  • Review and manage development programme and brief
  • Write formal business correspondences, reports and presentations
  • Provide advice and recommendations on relevant legal, regulatory and other industry matters
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities to optimise project outcomes, and know when to escalate to management
  • Ability to identify all aspects of development including identifying deficiencies, standardisation, innovation, revenue time and cost to extract maximum value
  • Ability to see and communicate 'the bigger picture', new business opportunities, and innovations
  • Value management of all aspects and stages of the project
  • Possess thorough understanding of planning system and ability to seek and obtain Development Approvals
  • Manage all components relating to the delivery of subdivision stages
Your point of difference


You will have appropriate tertiary qualifications and indicative industry experience with demonstrated built form/apartments experience coupled with solid experience in managing and developing teams, strong commercial /legal/ financial acumen, and an understanding of the procurement, planning and tendering processes.

Indicative industry experience of 7 years with experience in Apartment project design and delivery.


You will have ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and complexity, conflict resolution experience in project and people management and excellent Microsoft Suites and project management skills.
