The role
An exciting
opportunity to support our
Supplier Services Team as a
Supplier Specialist.


This is a busy and fast paced relationship role where you will be responsible for full vendor management, acting as a conduit between the Suncorp Bank and our various Business partners.


What you'll do

  • Manage Supplier / Partner performance and adherence to commercial agreements
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to Suncorp Banking Operations Stakeholders and Suppliers
  • Facilitate negotiation of contracts and service level agreements between Suncorp Bank and Suppliers
  • Act as the escalation interface between Banking Operations and External Suppliers
  • Build and manage strong working relationships between Banking Operations business units and Suppliers
  • Ensure Supplier compliance with all statutory, regulatory and governance requirements
  • Provide objective advice and support to Banking Operations Business Units and management on all Supplier compliance and governance issues
  • Govern Supplier spend and cost benefit realisation
  • Support Supplier impacted projects and transition activities

What you'll bring

  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and decisionmaking skills
  • The ability to manage your time effectively
  • Knowledge of relationship management process and framework, contracts and negotiating of contracts along with knowledge of service level agreements and scorecards is desirable
