What your typical day will look like:

Reporting to the group CEO (ANZ) and APAC Director of Marketing and Communications, the Head of Marketing and Communications, ANZ will be responsible for leading the evolution of dentsu ANZ's brand positioning.


As the leader of a community of marketing and communications specialists across Australia and New Zealand you will be responsible for the strategic development and delivery of integrated marketing and communication activities, evolving and articulating the dentsu ANZ value proposition, strengthening the reputation of dentsu in the market and ensuring all marketing and communication activities are aligned with strategic business objectives.


Other responsibilities include:

  • Champion the 'one dentsu' brand and its strategic development.
  • Communicate the 'one dentsu' vision, mission, values, story, and identity across the ANZ market (internally and externally).
  • Develop, lead, and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy for dentsu ANZ in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Help shape the dentsu ANZ gotomarket strategy by articulating the capability and proposition value, backed by engaging thought leadership and case studies that highlight the dentsu difference.
  • Devise and continually evolve the marketing and communications strategy and team capability.
  • Support the dentsu ANZ Executive Leadership Team with strategic communications counsel.
  • Play a key role in the global communications network, ensuring that global and regional campaigns and business priorities are effectively leveraged internally and externally within the ANZ market.
  • Provide inspirational leadership while acting as a brand champion and change agent that delivers a highquality client centric culture with exceptional stakeholder relationships.

A bit about you:

  • Tertiary qualified in marketing, communications, media or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years supporting C-Level executives with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Demonstrable experience in PR, communications, partnership development, gotomarket strategy planning and marketing
  • Proven experience in successful marketing/communication strategies, thought leadership, and exposure to large, global organizations.
