What role you will play?

In this role you will be responsible for business balance sheet and profit and loss activities including General Ledger close activities, confirming accuracy, understanding key controls and judgements, and stakeholder communications. You will provide technical accounting support for new business initiatives (such as new products or features) and implement and monitor the financial control framework while also driving process improvements and automation to build a scalable finance function that supports the Banking and Financial Services strategy.

  • Tertiary degree in accounting or similar and CA/CPA qualified (or in progress).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated curiosity (the ability to challenge the status quo) and a willingness to learn
  • Previous experience in financial services is advantageous
  • Technical accounting expertise and/or the ability to work with large operationally complex environment is advantageous.
