Join our dynamic team as a Environmental Services Manager within our Hospital.

The Position:

  • Manage the execution of safe and efficient cleaning and waste removal activities within the scope of the site contractual specifications Work cooperatively with the operations and kitchen teams daily, provide strong leadership and guidance
  • Manage finances within a budget
  • Comprehensive understanding of site service specification
  • Prepare scheduled and ad hoc reports for management
  • Compliance with Internal and External Audits
e.g. Environmental Audits, BSC, ACHS, HICMR, WHS Profiling

  • Purchase and manage stock
  • Lead and manage people
  • Develop and update industry knowledge
  • Comply with infection control policies and procedures in a Healthcare environment
  • Promote and maintain _Our Safety Culture_

The Person:

  • Strong team management skills with experience in cleaning operations in a healthcare or aged care environment
  • Demonstrated experience at management level, qualifications/experience in healthcare or business management will be highly valued
  • Strong commercial acumen is essential with intermediate to advanced excel skills
  • Ability to connect with key stakeholders and deliver superior service levels
  • Proactive leader who is professional, positive, supportive, and motivated with experience in recruiting, mentoring, training and developing a team of hospital assistants
