About the service

Our client's early years education and care service is centrally located near local shops and schools and has garnered an outstanding reputation within the community. Just a few minutes' stroll from Enoggera Train Station, the service takes pride in its inspiring outdoor spaces, featuring well-maintained, spacious areas adorned with natural elements where children can develop strength and self-confidence.

The centre's philosophy revolves around nurturing children's interests with warmth and care, encouraging empowerment through child-initiated experiences, and fostering strong connections with families and communities. With a mission to inspire and nurture everyone to achieve their full potential, the service prioritises quality, teamwork, and training opportunities and promotes a culture of recognition and reward.

This full-time role will see you working alongside other ECTS (with educational support) in managing a group of up to 22 children between 2.5 and 5 years old.

About you

Our perfect candidate will ooze passion for their practices, be dedicated, confident, and articulate in early childhood pedagogy and practice, and be absolutely committed to children. This needs to be the focus of their professional work through continued investigation of new research and best practices for children and integration of learning into ongoing curriculum development.

Role requirements

  • The completion of an ACECQA Approved four-year degree in Education (EC)
  • State teacher registration and up-to-date First Aid and other certifications
  • Extensive knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and QKLG
  • Ability to work on a rotating roster
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with all stakeholders
