We are currently seeking an experienced full-time permanent Stamping and Registration Clerk to bolster our expanding retirement villages (RV) conveyancing division.

Our RV department stands out as the most successful in Australia, continuously growing and collaborating with leading retirement village proprietors nationwide. By joining Australia's premier RV unit, you will delve into a thriving and engaging legal realm, supported by cutting-edge technology and infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing the registration of land registry documents across different states
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with the registration clerk squad to ensure smooth file preparation for submission
  • Handling the stamping of dutiable documents as a self-assessor for the State Revenue offices per state and coordinating duty payments when necessary
  • Drafting letters and dispatching registered documents to clients and residents
  • Collaborating with the paralegal team to organize files for submission
  • Ensuring accurate filing and registration of all land registry documents in compliance with state regulations
  • Continuously enhancing the stamping and registration procedures to bolster efficiency and precision
  • Supporting lawyers with occasional requests

Key qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in registering diverse documents with Titles Office in QLD and/or NSW
  • Knowledge in stamping various documents with State Revenue Offices
  • Familiarity with VIC, SA, and Tasmania is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong organizational skills and adept time management
  • Excellent communication abilities and a team-oriented mindset
  • Positive demeanor and a proactive work ethic
  • Exceptional attention to detail
