Quality and Completions Manager
1 Year Fixed Term Contract

We are currently seeking a Quality and Completions Manager supports the development, implementation, management and monitoring of the Project's Quality and Completion management systems, strategies and initiatives, ensuring Project delivery obligations comply with the Contract Deed and appropriate handover of the projects achieved successfully.

You will Manage the completion and Quality of a major Rail infrastrucure project in Sydney

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist to develop, implement and continually improve projectspecific quality and completion management, procedures and tools, to achieve successful project delivery and handover;
  • Ensure all completion requirements and deliverables are identified in the project management documentation including but not limited to plans, procedures, ITPs and procurement agreements;
  • Establish the quality framework and monitor and report compliance to the Senior Management Team, TfNSW and the IC.
  • Endorse timely corrective and preventive action and encourage a culture of continuous improvement;
  • Ensure that the audit schedule is implemented and operative;
  • Monitor quality performance trends;
  • Manage the Project Management Plan update process;
  • Work with the project team to resolve quality issues. Escalate quality issues to the Project Director as required;
  • Manage the defect rectification process.
  • Possess a recognized tertiary qualification relevant to the position and have recent relevant experience in quality management on projects similar to Parramatta Light Rail (PLR) Stage1;
  • Have at least fifteen years' quality management experience, with extensive experience in the development and implementation of quality management systems and plans;
