Casual - Kings Park

Are you passionate about working with children? Are you enthusiastic and enjoy entertaining and caring for babies, toddlers, and young children?

Our goal is to establish a warm, lively, secure, expert, and fulfilling setting for children. Our creche operates from 8.30 am to 2.00 pm Monday to Saturday, with an additional School Holiday Kids Active Program, allowing you to partake in extra hours to make the holiday program a real success. The position offers between hours per week.

It is crucial that you have prior experience with babies, toddlers, and young children, and are available to work every Saturday plus at least two shifts per week.

What are the Key Requirements?

  • Current Working with Children's Check (WWC)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Anaphylaxis training/certificate (desirable)
  • Familiarity with child care regulations and laws
  • Background in a similar position involving children aged 3 months to 4 years
  • Show a zeal for excellent customer service
  • Must be able to work during school holidays
  • Readiness to design and conduct educational, enjoyable, and interactive activities suitable for babies and toddlers

What are the Responsibilities?

  • Provide top-quality care standards
  • Ensure a safe and protected environment that values children as individuals with a caring and child-focused approach
  • Plan and execute our Holiday Active Program
  • Recognize individual children's needs and cater to them appropriately e.g., nappy changes, bottles, snacks, etc.
  • Offer childcare in a manner that meets parents' requirements and collaborates with them while delivering exceptional customer service consistently
  • Maintain the creche in a clean and compliant state as per health regulations
