Apprentice Metal Fabricator

1st year Apprentice Metal Fabricator required for a structural steel company at Peakhurst. We have a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to pursue a career and can demonstrate an eagerness to learn.

You must be willing to undertake further study at TAFE, leading to a trade qualification in Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade.

Will learn a broad range of skills, grinding, drilling, welding, marking out, and fabricating.

A Metal Fabricator fabricates and installs: bollards, posts, columns, beams, handrails, platforms, balustrades and other steel items on residential, industrial and commercial buildings.

The work conducted by our company includes working in a team.

Applicants will work 4 days a week in our factory (with optional overtime) and be paid to attend TAFE one day a week and study Engineering Fabrication Trade Cert III.

Be paid to learn your trade and end up with a nationally accredited Certificate.

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
