Role Responsibilities:


In this role you will be working with internal stakeholders and managers to build and implement Human Resources solutions in line with Unisson's vision, goals and values.

You will support and influence stakeholders around performance management, IR & ER advice & investigations, and general HR policies and projects.

You will be part of a supportive team of diverse and skilled individuals.

The responsibilities of the position include:

  • Support the relevant service General Manager and team with all ER/IR matters to ensure compliance with Unisson Disability's policies, practices and procedures
  • Assist to develop, review and maintain appropriate policies and procedural guidelines covering all aspects of HR
  • Assist and support the People, Learning & Culture leadership with strategic planning and research focused on future focused strategies and initiatives.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Previous experience in the disability sector (preferable, however not essential)
  • Previous experience in a Human Resources Advisory/Business Partnering role (2+ years desired)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, and/or completion of appropriate workrelated study in relevant field.
  • Ability to interpret awards, employment law and legislation
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and competing deadlines, planning and organising work schedules and demonstrating initiative when working without direct supervision
  • Commitment to the values, vision and mission of the organisation including leadership and implementation
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
  • Outstanding planning, organising, presentation and leadership skills
  • Be able to influence the leadership team through advising, coaching and developing skills in others
  • Emotional intelligence, resilience and physical capacity to perform the work required
  • An understanding of working within personal and professional boundaries in a multicultural environment
  • Have a positive and teamoriented attitude
  • Initiative and selfmotivation
