We are currently hiring Disability and Mental Health Support Workers for the D360 Squad in Melbourne

You must be able to take a step back and promote their independence and encourage them to feel included within their community.


We are looking for staff who can think outside the square, and people who have hobbies and life experiences that can assist our participants in their daily lives.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):_

  • Assisting with Community Participation, facilitating social outings and transport
  • Assistance with daily life tasks and domestic assistance (cleaning duties)
  • Providing support in a manner that is consistent and encourages and motivates our Participants to meet their goals and independent skills building, through personcentered practices.
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with other team members, Participants, families, and stakeholders.
  • Regular recording of shift notes, reporting, and Support plans, identifying areas of improvement and recognizing steps taken towards achieving goals.
  • Portraying positive values and attitudes in line with those of D360

  • Can respect the personal preferences of participants in meeting their needs and encourage individual growth and development.
  • Can work in conjunction with other Support Workers and our management team to perform duties as directed.
  • Has relevant education or experience in the disability or mental health field and/or a lived experience with mental health.

Qualifications & experience:

  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Induction Module Certificate
  • COVID19 Infection Control Certificate
  • Driver's License (without restrictions)
  • Comprehensive car insurance
  • First Aid & CPR Certificates
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Certificate IV in Disability/Mental Health or qualification in a relevant field is desirable but not required
