  • Similar to a Service Delivery Manager

As a Computational Environment Facilitator, you will have demonstrated skills in multi-domain customer relationship management, facilitation of effective and fit for purpose outcomes on behalf of service consumers, and strategic thinking and development. You will be responsible for emerging capability identification, evaluation against use-case demand, and coordination of new service delivery and models

General requirements of the position include:

  • Have sound interpersonal skills, including the ability to work productively and collaboratively as a member of a team;
  • Have the ability to develop strong working relationships across multiple business areas and recommend or co-ordinate efforts to deliver fit-for-purpose and timely outcomes;
  • Contribute positively to the outcomes of highly functional teams;
  • Be proficient in troubleshooting, investigation and reverse engineering of complex and undocumented systems; and
  • Ideally have experience collaborating and effectively contributing to the outcomes of Agile development teams.

Skills required include:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholder groups and communications teams to gather requirements, plan solutions and develop marketing, service promotion and service information materials spanning all aspects of ICT service delivery to the research community
  • Provide advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and coordinated approaches to solution delivery are applied to service consumers
  • Contribute to strategic planning in relation to emerging and current technology service offerings to user communities
  • Advocate research requirements and interpret upcoming demand to proactively co-ordinate planning and building of new system capabilities
  • Have an understanding of ICT infrastructure components and enabling services, including physical, environmental and operational management
  • Demonstrated ability to provide proactive advice and strategies to service delivery and enablement frameworks across a variety of domains, including compute, storage, network, operating environment, virtualisation and containerisation
