Childcare Services Coordinator

Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the Childcare Attendants, conduct team meetings and create rosters that cover all shifts and take into account any contingencies that may arise.
- Ensure childcare staff are aware of, and comply with, relevant information, policies and procedures to ensure the safety of children, members and guests.
- Liaise with other areas of the Centre (in particular
- Gymnasium, Maintenance Department, Reception and Memberships Department, Cleaning Department), external businesses and the general public to meet targets, maintain facilities and provide excellent services.
- Contribute to, support and drive membership sales for one of the major revenue streams for the Centre by promoting the services of the childminding area to the wider community and members to achieve budget targets.
- Develop Junior Fitness programs and oversee delivery, monitoring children's motor skills, milestones and developmental stage to progress them when required.
- Provide high quality childcare and liaise with parents on a regular basis to discuss the requirements and development of the children and listen to, encourage and provide stimulating activities for the children to ensure the safety and happiness of all children.
- Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.
A mandatory requirement of this role is:
- Possession of a Certificate III in Children's Services or qualification relevant to the tasks outlined from a recognised training institution, or qualification which, in the opinion of the Director-General, Department of Education, or delegate, is acceptable.
- In accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 a person is prohibited from working in regulated childrelated employment unless the person holds a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
